Campaign Fatigue
I stayed up last night to watch the last presidential debate in Tempe, Az. and couldn't even bring myself to watch it. Just more regurgitation of formulated positions, distortions of the facts and smearing your adversary. Made-for-t.v. politics. Blech! Can't we find anyone more honest to run OUR government? Yes, but then he/she would never get elected.

But I do agree, if a truly honest politician showed up as a side candidate, they'd get ignored. If they were able to conform to one of the two major party lines, they'd probably be torn apart by their opponent. I'm wondering where I can get my hands on true political (untainted) raw data that wasn't skewed so I could make my own opinion about it this year.
I found that a good place to start is www.publius.org. From there, use your instincts.
